Hi Tommy, our love to your Mommy!
Mine gave me a stinkin' Timex.

Early 1970's, maybe 166.0196 from '73-74. Looks to be a gold-filled nice example but we need to see inside to give good info.

Straps are personal preference with brown, tan, cordovan/oxblood and black being popular with gold cases.
Bracelets need to match the gold tone of the case and the fit should conform to the lug area.
Check the "WRUW" thread to see some examples.

I do love the 70's watch designs... Congratulations.
I'd say maybe a 166.0213 with a 1020 movement perhaps, but you'll have to remove the back to confirm
If you want a correct Omega bracelet, we'll have to know the reference #.
There is a possibility Omega never made a bracelet for this watch which means experimentation with the aftermarket.
Best wishes, Tom

Any brown 20 mm strap will look 10000000 times better than the one you have on there currently ( its the wrong size)
