    Hello,

I am having a heck of a time trying to find any information on this Omega that was handed down recently. I have almost no information except that it is thought to have been purchased in the seventies.

No model on the front face and no markings on the back. Does this watch look familiar to anyone by chance? Is this even real?

    Thank you for any help!

    Andy

Not something I am familiar with but certainly looks real to me. Just googling around and found Omega reference 166.0118 which looks very similar. There are few threads on here if you do a search on that reference. It’s a nice watch but I imagine not a collectors favourite and maybe you will struggle finding any depth of info.
The ref no. will be on the inside of the caseback if you get someone to remove.
    Good luck.

    Thanks!
I was doing a lot of searches and don't remember coming across that model.

Do they usually print the model number inside the back cover?

Yes generally that’s where you will find the model number on Omega watches.
Have a watchmaker remove as you could mark the caseback without the correct tools.
