Hope my fellow forum members can help me out again.
I got this watch in a watchmakers lot full of tools en watch parts.
This watch was in the lot. I've checked the serial number and it seems to be from 1944. The model seems to be the 2300/1, but I can't confirm that. If someone knows more about it, it would be really appriciated. The movement is the R17.8SC.
The question I have is if the hands and dial are correct for this watch. It has military style hands and dial on it.
I've seen some pictures online of simular pieces, but I want to be sure that everything is correct.

Here are some pictures:

The dial has been completely refinished unfortunately. The original dial could have been similar in style I suppose, and if so, the hands could be original, but relumed obviously.

Would the refinish on the dial be the lume part only?

The entire dial has been repainted.

Unfortunately it is also missing it's bezel and I don't think the crown is correct either.

That is really too bad. Maybe the dial was in a better shape, so that is why it was repainted.

I noticed the missing bezel, but I'm not certain about the crown. I got about 15 Omega crowns in the watchmakers lot that I don't know for which models they are. I think I will open another thread, as some are really hard to tell to which models they fit. Maybe one of these would be a correct crown.
