Hello, nice to meet you all, I'm Pacet. I'm a new member of this Omega forum.

I just acquired a vintage Omega Seamaster 120 watch from a local auction group. I'm not sure if it's authentic or fake. If any of the group members have any information, could you please help me?

Thanks a lot

Looks fake I’m afraid. Have you got any better pictures of the dial? It’s possible but unlikely that’s it’s been poorly restored but the caseback and bezel aren’t right

Thankyou bro.

But have you ever owned an Omega with the same series as mine? Or let's wait for comments from other members here.

You can go ahead and accept Davidt's opinion. The caseback and bezel are very obviously wrong, which will make everyone wonder about the dial, which needs better pictures to ascertain.

Only about 6 or 7

Yes, you're right. It's an Omega Franken with a few different parts, especially the bezel. I was just checking for accuracy, though I already knew that.

Thanks for your answer, bro.

Cheers 🍻

Do you have a better picture of the dial? The bezel seems generic rather than fake, but the caseback looks fake. As @Porteroso says, this makes the dial questionable so it would be good to get a better view of it to confirm either way as you may well want to return it

All is not lost though! Depending on what you paid for it, if the dial, case, movement are correct, it could be a fun project to get back in shape. But yes, you might want to return it too.
