This is my first post on this forum as I'm new to Omega watches. This is my first vintage purchase and I'm really struggling to identify the model or maybe I have bought a re-dial or some sort of restoration. I only found this forum after i made the purchase and really would have liked to have had the knowledge I have gained from reading the stickies on the vintage forum before I purchased but I didn't spend a huge amount and I'm still quite happy with what I have ended up with.
I've used the serial number on the movement and identified it to be around 1947. The number on the case back is 2408/02 but this hasn't brought me any joy when searching for it apart from an eBay listing from 2018 which is very vague and doesn't have the same dial as mine although the case does look the same. It would be nice to know what movement is inside and if it is the original dial or even to see the same exact model on a photo other than the one I have found so I could compare mine to it. I have attached images of the watch and also the eBay finding.
Is 33mm not including the crown, 16mm lug width and has the serial number 10895130.

    Thanks a lot in advance.

As marked inside the case back this is a reference 2408. The movement is a caliber 28 and the dial appears to be original. There were many different dials offered so finding an exact match may not be possible.

It’s pretty good for a first time purchase. Dial looks original to me, the cal 28 is more uncommon. Yours looks clean but definitely have it serviced if it wasn’t done recently. Case looks like it’s been repolished, which isn’t ideal although it was done a little more sympathetically and wasn’t super aggressive. Crown is a replacement but it’s an appropriate one.

As X350 said, they made lots of different dial variations back then so it might not be all that easy to find other pics of a more obscure reference like this one.
