I'm trying to identify a watch which belonged to my family. All I know is that it was acquired between 1950s and 1960s but may have been older than that. The serial number which is inside the casing is 111020 91. From looking at databases it seems that this series of numbers was in 1947.

It is 18ct and has a multi faceted / bevelled face

I cant find anything on the internet that looks the same - can anyone help identify it?

    Thanks in advance

Do you have a photo of the movement?

It is a caliber 620 movement. Very common for the late 1960's.

Your picture is not clear enough to see the serial number on the movement to be more precise on the dating.

111.020 is the model number. Not sure what the 91 stands for.

So I think you have a very nice Omega Geneve watch from about 1968, give or take a few years.

    Hope this helps,

Sorry just another thing I remembered, I've been told the face is white sapphire. Could anyone confirm it? Or an approximate value?
    Thanks again

    Can't confirm the dial.

The value of the watch is likely gold melt plus $50 to $100 for the movement, if running.

There is almost no collector value for theses models today. That could change in the future.

I would love to see a 3/4 shot so I can see the crystal. Is it the face or the dial that creates that hexagon look. Neat watch very 60's in feel.
