Can anyone help me identify what the DFS stands for here? I bet it will be something so straight forward that I will kick myself once it's known

    Thanks in advance

I guess it was part of the US Northern Defense Line / DEW Line organisation and is probably the Defense Fuel Support facility near Elmendorf Air Base.

Just memories from my way back then days.

Duty Free Shop at the Anchorage airport?
Wouldn't that have been sold in the BX on base? Then I think it might have been AAFES.

Sounding more like Duty Free Store www.dfs.com, but isn't it unusual for Omega to refer to a distributor in this way?
