Help identifying a vintage watch

Hi! I'm new to this forum, and hoping someone can help me identify a vintage Omega that I was bequeathed from my late father (and it was his father's watch). I think it's from the late 1930s or early 1940s, and it would have been received or gifted in South Africa. The information I have so far is that it's a 23.4 caliber, case reference #9753010, serial #9006610, silver face. Here's a photo.
One clue might be that it could be a "Medicus", as my late grandfather was a doctor. However, I haven't been able to find a square version of that watch that looks like this.
I'd love it if someone could do me a solid and identify this for me - it would add a lot of meaning to an already special watch.

Hi! And welcome. Is it possible for you to upload a photo that's a bit larger? I think I count about 26 by 31 pixels on this one.

It's known as a tank watch. This seems to be a similar watch?

Thank you so much for the warm welcome and speedy response. Yup, it's a very similar shape to what you sent, albeit with different numerals, etc. Here's a better picture (I note that the band is non-original, and not an Omega band.)

I think it's a very nice watch. Case is definitely different from what I posted, now that I see a bigger photo. Love the numerals. And any Fab Suisse is fun.

You might be able to find other similar tanks based upon the reference, but the dials can vary. It might be difficult to find the exact same dial, though there are some straight up wizards on this forum.

I bet for a ref CK 3611 with 23.4SC inside, unfortunately, yours has a repainted dial.
Mine says hello :

Here in a catalog :

And same ref with 23.4 in a 1940 catalog :

Glad our watches can meet across the ether, even if mine has a mutant dial. (Gee, I didn't even know that was a thing, repainting dials!) Yours is really lovely, and it certainly does look very similar in shape and hands to mine. I think it's very similar in shape to what you are showing in the catalog, and the vintage seems about right.
Thank you!
