I'm pretty new as far as vintage watches go .... And I am a huge Omega fan. I have two SMPs and a 1985 Speedy. But would love to get a gold dress watch. It's tough to find the reference numbers for them when I see something I might like .... So it's hard to get any research on them. I am spending a lot of time reading here and where I can .... But I'm stuck. Can anyone give me any info on these 3 watches. I found the pics but no info on them ..... And they are the kind I have in mind for myself. But no idea of the details, reference number or their value etc etc. so any help would be awesome. My preference would be something 35mm + but not gonna limit it to that.

    Number 1 - Seamaster

    Number 2 - Constellation

    Number 3 - Seamaster

Thanks ..... And if anyone wants to make any other suggestions along these lines .... I'd welcome any advise.

First one was my old watch, 1950s Omega Seamaster 14704 Cal. 591 with rose gold capped case and linen dial. 2nd one looks like a Constellation 14393 Cal. 561 and last one looks like a Seamaster 2577 Cal. 351/354.

Thank you Kyle. Now you don't mean the actual one in this pic was yours do you?? That would be weird.
Can you give me ballpark values on them for me?

Yep, was my watch. It was actually sold on this forum. Value wise I'd say the first two are around $700-1000 and the third depends on the metal. Gold capped/steel can probably be found for around $600.

That's too funny. Awesome photo btw. Seriously.
At these prices I'm gathering they are all gold capped as you said. Where do the solid gold ones fit in?

Yep, this one is mine. I snatched this one from eBay when one of our resident experts posted the ad on "Recommended Vintage Omega Watches on eBay" The service tag reads Gold/pink cap, Cal 501, Case #2857-2856-2. I'd say approximately 35-36mm not counting the crown. I suggest you keep an eye on the Recommended Vintage and Sale sections in here..

Gentlemen. I appreciate the replies. Good catches all of you. And thanks again for the details on your watches. The tip to keep an eye on the recommended Sales section is a great one. At least I'm retired and the boating season hasn't quite started up yet ...... So I can make the time to keep doing my research. I can see patience is a virtue ...... Cuz now I have my eye on something ....... It's tempting to jump. Patience grasshopper. [emoji2]
