Hi,

I inherited a relative's 1960s Universal Geneve automatic. What model reference is this and what else can you tell me about it? The case back has an engraving and the number 10042 near the edge. Thanks in advance and I'll update with higher quality photos including a movement photo when I can.

Looks like a nice dial. If it's a solid gold case that could be the case ref you mentioned. Interior and exterior caseback plus movement shots are necessary.

 

I finally got around to getting some additional photos of the movement and case back. The rotor marks are from well before I came into possession of it.

This is a US made case, I think that doesn't follow the same nomenclature as the Swiss made ones

Matching with the US HON / low jewel 215-27 movement.
