Came across this piece - while I'm not an Omega expert I am keen on my issued military watches - however, this is not military (issued) and I'm not familiar with such a model with its luminous batons vs the metal batons normally seen. Help and guidance appreciated.

Without a case reference number, there's not much we can tell you.

Omega made hundreds of Seamaster models, each one having several different dials.

The number of potential combinations are staggering.

IMO, the watch in the pictures is missing the bezel.

Joe - can you post a photo or link to one with a bezel? On the links DON provided, there are no bezels.

Just from the look of the case it does look like it's missing a bezel of some description.

    Yep, bezel missing!
Probably just a simple stainless steel bezel (without inscription)

From this angle the bezel does not look right, it's either missing or replaced with the wrong size. The color of the bezel is different than the rest of the case. Also it might have a refinished dial. I haven't seen a dial with this index configuration for this Seamaster case design. A closer look is highly recommended.
Check the caliber against the references number to make sure it's the right one for the reference.

I was able to buy the piece at auction, so I'll post a complete photo set ( maybe separate thread with appropriate title) when it arrives.
