    I have acquired this 1954 Omega military watch but i am very dubious about the movement and the authenticity of the watch.

    Can anyone she'd any light on this watch for me.

    Regards.

    It’s truly a POS ::puke::

    Send it back and report the seller if you can.

    The engraving is fake to boost price, and those are not the parts it left the factory with “maybe”

    Did you not consider googling Omega Y22668 before buying ? I mean all the information is there to find it’s fake. I have some sympathy for buyers of fakes that have nothing searchable on them, but for this is takes under 20 seconds with Google to find the answer...

    Well hopefully it wasn't too expensive. It's certainly a very bold and obvious fake, pretending to be a pretty valuable watch.

    Of course, on the Rolex sub-forum yesterday, someone pointed out a total fake that sold for $5,600 in an auction from a seller with no feedback. So it could be worse.
