Hello! I would need some advice on the catalogue / reference number for the crystal of Seamaster 60, unfortunately got some really deep-polywatch resistant scratches here.
The watch is a 166.062, the crystal has a loupe.

Thanks all!

I often remove deep scratches by wet sanding with fine sandpaper (e.g. 600 grit), the follow up with 1000, 1500, and 2000, and finish with a polishing compound like polywatch. I have restored many vintage crystals that way. For some people it's more trouble than it's worth, but I've got it pretty dialed in, and it only takes me about 15 minutes.

I'm right there with Dan, wet-dry sandpaper can do wonders to even a badly scratched crystal.

I would carefully mask that bezel before getting down to business.
