    Hey friends,
I got a cosmic which was service by my watchmaker but he can’t fix the quick set date function.
He told me that he probably needs parts :
    560 1500
    563 1530
    240.1105
    613 1109

does anyone have these parts, or has anyone experienced the same problem ?

If you pull the crown now it does not do nothing, and it’s also hard to find the spot to adjust even the time since you can not here any click..
    I am really sad

Well, you already have the date wheel (1500) and the setting lever (1109) so unless those are damaged, I'm not sure why you would need to replace them. The click spring (1105) is unrelated to the date system.

But if the date corrector )1530) is missing or broken it should be replaced. Note that there is an updated date indicator driving wheel that should be installed (1564) and like the date indicator guard as well (1554)...if your watchmaker can't get these parts, you can consider taking it to a watchmaker who has access to parts directly from Omega, rather than you having to look for the parts for your watchmaker. It's the watchmaker's job to find these...

    Cheers, Al

My watchmaker told me to buy all the parts that he thinks that may cause a problem, because he does not really know which exact part is the problem.

5601500 is the date indicator (ring) with the numbers on it - you can see this in your picture.
5631530 is the date corrector (and is probably missing or not engaged with 5631568 but, you can't see 5631530 in your picture as it is fitted on the underside of the date guard).
2401105 is the click spring so not related to the date function.
6131109 is the setting lever that, with 5631110, controls the actions when you pull the crown out.

As Al has just posted explaining this while I was writing I'll just say that if you can't feel the stops when pulling out the crown then I would suspect 6131109 or 5631110. I can see the latter in your picture and it appears intact. It seems that your watchmaker doesn't understand how the quick set works so, worth taking it to someone who does. Do you have a picture with the date guard 5631554 in place?

    Good luck, Chris

You have the old version of part 5631530 (can't remember if this is the same part number - probably not) but, it has not been engaged correctly... I can see it here (by the way, for me, these parts should have been stripped):
    upload_2019-12-21_15-27-40.png

Here's a 5631530 one on the underside of the calendar guard.

And here, you can see it engaged with the pin on 5631568 - your one isn't

You need someone who understands this so, consider a different watchmaker. Still concerned that you can't feel the time setting stop as well.

    Cheers, Chris

    Ship it.

    Find a new "watchmaker"

I MAY have access to many of these parts from a 613 that Al canabalized for me a few years back. However, I am traveling and won't be able to check for 3-4 weeks. I'd have to leave it up to your watchmaker to decide what parts were worth using. However, like I said I'd start with sending it someplace else.

Nice Cosmic btw. I love these watches and I think they are a great "value" watch.

My watchmaker is great, by the way.
Nobody can know everything . We are not Gods. We are learning day by day. This calibers are from the 60s , and my WM is not a qualified Omega Watchmaker as are many in this forum.
The only thing I wish is that he should have already registered here and ask questions . Not me! That's my real and only whine...

As far as I can see from these pictures, you have everything that you need but, the mechanism is not assembled correctly. When you pump between the 2nd and 3rd stops, part 5631568 moves and rotates 5631530 which moves the date on one tooth.

Ask your watchmaker to review the assembly when he puts the date guard on. This pin on 5631568:
    pin.jpg
Needs to be fitted in the hole of the steel piece here:
    hole.jpg
Then the semi quickset date will work. That's it.

I'm not sure why you can't feel the different crown stops but, it's probably the parts I mentioned above. Fix this first and see, as it may be that with these parts misaligned, the setting lever and spring are being squashed so the action is imprecise.

    Good luck, Chris

If you really struggle to find these let me know.
The old part is usually no good.
I have a few NOS left. Not sure on pricing either so if anyone knows That would help.

It looks like you have all the parts you need unless I am missing something.
The old 1530 is a weak point as Al says, I do not want to sell you something you do not need
