Good afternoon/morning to everyone,
I have a 145.022-71 nice fitted with a 1175/#47 but the end-links are quite damaged and the appearance of the watch looks compromised. So I am looking for the 640 end links that are also reflecting the indication from the Omega Extract.
I've been kindly informed by a gentle OF member (Dave) that the 640 end links, I am looking for, are still available as spare from Omega, the item part number is 026st640.
I am in Italy and I contacted a couple of AD (Omega Boutiques, that are very few in Italy) and after a short description they confirm that the item is re-ordable as spare but they have to receive the watch and do the job in the Omega center.
Due to the quarantine situation we live and due to the un-necessary need to provide the watch (it's a short and easy job to change the end-links) I don't wanto to provide the watch.
Is there someone that could help me in looking for the spares and provide me the way to acquire them (a pair of 640 end links). The price they indicated is 40.5 euro each, I am available to pay an extra to have them delivered at home but independently I am constrained .
Thanks in advance to the OF for the opportunity and to you for the eventual help.

Below some picture of the watch and the extract (now fits end-links on 1175)

Elio

I would call the Omega service center in your country directly, and ask for the spare parts department. These are not restricted parts, so anyone can buy them.

I agree, to me looks only a strategy to oblidge the privates to ask and pay an extra for a service that is not necessary
I appreciate your concern, here the AD inMilan:

Grazie mille, si le avevo viste e mi sono stupito del delta prezzo (gli spare costano 40,5 euro l'uno...)

For the record: I just ordered a pair of these through a watchmaker friend. He has an Omega account, and their price to him, here in the states, was $75 per endlink. That's wild that they're that much cheaper in Italy.

Yes, I'm not an expert but just yesterday as info the AD indicated to me the price as per 40.5 euro each, so I don't know if the VAT was missing but still doesn't justify the difference... I'll let u know in case I'll find someone that can help me to order the spare

Your friend made a few bucks off those end links, or pays a high price. I got mine from Topper for $46ea just a month ago.

Yup. Just about anyone not Omega selling these sorts of things are making a killing off of people who are unwilling to contact Omega directly.

I stumbled across this thread looking into ways to pair my new to me 1175 bracelet with correct 640 end links. While I would love to find a pair of stamped/vintage 640 links, you just can't beat $46/link. Price of $46 was confirmed and today I ordered a pair from my local AD.
