Help finding a date for an ad

Hey everyone,
I'm using an old Omega ad for one of my college assignments and I couldn't find an exact date of release. Could anyone help me?
The only sources I could find for this ad are from 1969 and from 1972, but I believe they're incorrect, as the ad references the Apollo-Soyuz space mission that only happened in 1975. Does anyone have a clue?

Worth noting that's about $1000 dollars today including inflation for a $122,000 dollar space suit haha

Unbelievable isn't it..
I think the value of that original Omega Moonwatch would be significantly more valuable than the space suit nowadays..
If I'm not mistaken that's possibly Buzz Aldrin and his watch was somehow lost, and is still out there waiting to be discovered..
Gives us all a bit of hope😉

I'm inclined to disagree with Fratello's assessment of the publication date. The copy (ad-text) refers to the Apollo-Soyuz mission and its spacesuits seemingly in past-tense. The Apollo-Soyuz mission took place in 1975 and I find it difficult to believe that the public would be aware of or have much interest in a mission scheduled for two years in the future. I date the ad to 1975 at the earliest.

Well, given the presence of the Speedsonic in the photo, I think it could not be earlier than 1973, IIRC. But @Jones in LA makes a good point.

Still, this is all guesswork, and the ad could be from years later for all we know. If the OP needs to know when the ad is from, he will need to find the magazine itself.

The Speedmaster 125 was introduced in 1973, so the ad cannot be earlier than that. I don’t know how long that watch was offered after ‘73. Apollo-Soyuz was in 1975, but the mission was planned earlier than that. I would place the ad around 1974.
Worth noting that's about $1000

Actually, taking the depreciation of the US dollar against the Swiss franc, you’re looking at more like $4,000. Not too far off from current Speedmaster pricing.

I think it was offered from 1974-1978, after being introduced at the watch shows the year before.
