Hi,

First time posting here, I am not an Omega owner. I am from Brazil and my father-in-law showed me the Omega watch he received from his father as a gift in the 1950s. Anybody can point out to me the model?

It is missing the complete bracelet and the movement is not working.

Thanks

We'll need to see the movement and the numbers on the inside of the case back. Have a watchmaker open it for you.

And while you are at it, that horrible crystal needs to be removed! It appears as though the fumes from the plastic have corroded the hands.

Based on the shape of the case and styling of the dial it looks like a “bumper” from the late 40s or early 50s, movement 2810 perhaps? Obviously gold plated considering the steel back and gold colored case.

I think you mean reference 2810

I meant caliber 28.10 sorry for omitting the dot. I can only cite about 3 Omega references so there was no risk I would know this one off hand.

Thanks all for the quick replies. I will get the case back opened and provide more pics.
