I've been a fan of the Seiko 6105 for a while and have owned an SRP777 and SPB151, but they didn't quite scratch the itch. I've been toying with the idea of getting the modern re-issue SLA-033, but I feel like it would be the same thing – almost a 6105, but not quite. So now I've started looking at vintage 6105's and this one has caught my eye. I know it has the less desirable "Resist" dial and non-horse shoe caseback, but nothing jumps out at me as being aftermarket. The seller says everything is original to watch except the crystal, which was replaced during a recent service. Admittedly, I know almost nothing about vintage Seiko's. So, would one of you fine experts mind weighing in on the originality and condition of this particular 6105?

First thing I wonder about: the lume on the second hand looks suspiciously red to me. Unless it's a NOS seconds hand, seems like a replacement to me.

But if the rest is correct, and the price is right, that might not be a deal breaker.

I doubt the sweep hand is original. Check that the crown lock is functional.
