Hello I have this Omega watch which has been in my family for long years now - it belonged to my grandfather. I'm no expert whatsoever, I can't even say that I know anything about the watches so could You please help me evaluate the price I could get on this one. I replaced the band because the old one (and I doubt it was original) was destroyed over time. I don't know what model it is and what is the weight without the band. To be honest I don't know nothing about it except for what I can see on it Thank You very much in advance With best regards Michał
Michal There's no way of breaking this to you gently, but it is not an Omega and quite probably, not solid gold either. If you look at the Fake Omega thread, you will see a lot of similar watches.
Hi Michal, and welcome to the forum! I´m sorry to say that this is not an omega watch. AFAIK there were not omega with antimagnetic on the dial. Looks like someone added the "omega" script and the logo at some point. Also the script on the case back should be placed inside not outside. Maybe the movement is omega, who knows...
Thank You all very much for the replies I may take it to the jeweler and check if it's a gold or not and sell it for scrap metal. Whis You all the best in the New Year! Thread is closed I think
Maybe, but do spend some time on here for some amazing advice - and use it to go find a better one out there Happy New Year to you too!
