the beauty in a C-case is in the orbital graining and the very sharp mirror-finish edge facets.

the SS one has been polished and lost its sharp edges
the gold-capped one has also lost it edge facets and the movt look very tired and the dial is grubby

check out the dedicated thread to see what really good c-cases should look like

C-cases rose in price (I think mainly for the attention they got here on OF) but have dropped back - so $1300 is no longer a bargain and you should be able to get a really nice one for that kind of cash

Neither of those examples excites me, so I would keep hunting.

Thank you @Peemacgee and @Dan S for weighing in, I have been on the hunt for weeks now and cant seem to land on that nice option, I really like a linen dial, any specific online stores you can point me at other than chrono and ebay?

Fast, good, or fairly priced ... choose two.

I forgot to mention that, due to my smaller wrist, I am also attracted to 34mm seamasters with cross hair dials so that's another option I am looking at.

I wonder if Deville are only meant to be dressy and if its hard to be daily driven, I find this option attractive and comes from US seller which means n9 import fees
