Hello fellow members. I am not sure why this happened but suddenly I have four Seiko LC (digital watches from the 70s or so).

I got this one yesterday and cannot deactivate the alarm. My checks on the internet revealed how to “set” the alarm but not how to de-activate.

Maybe @JimInOz once de-activated a bomb that was using this type of watch?

My wife is away this week and this alarm woke the hell out of me and the cat at precisely midnight.

The watch has the two buttons that you see on the face, plus a crown at 3 that pulls out like on a regular watch.

I will try most of the suggestions you provide. Although @Canuck will likely suggest I toss the watch into the lake.

Thanks! Yes, that’s Amy Winehouse… I am creating this thread on my favorite old chair and it is surrounded by vinyl records. The cat is also begging for help.

I believe it would be one of the buttons or combo of the two when you are in the alarm setting function. At least that's how it is on the digital Seikos I have experienced.

So… I got some of the expected comments…

New title. Gift will be this 2 watch pouch made by me.

To the first person who successfully guides me through the steps to de-activate the alarm without damaging the watch and without removing the battery. Damn this should be fine print.

The prize. Watches not included
