Hi all, My name is Darren and i am a newbie to this forum. I have a bit of a dilemma. I am contemplating purchasing a omega watch, but which one. I realise that a lot of members will say it's a personal preference type of thing and I can relate to that. I really want a speedmaster moon watch, but which one ? there seems to be such a choice. I want something with heritage, something that looks good on the wrist and something which could be an investment for the future. what do you recommend?
If you're confused at the moment it's not the time to be looking to buy. Read up on Speedmasters, all the way from the first one to the current issue. There is a huge variation in price/availability and intended use. Vintage Speedmasters are covered here And as for investment value, follow Warren Buffet.
If for investment, Just buy what's going to be cool in 30 years from now today and lock It in a safe and never wear it and pray to the watch gods once a month.
