I have decided to buy my first luxury watch. I was looking at grey market such as jomashop which I understand does not offer manufacture warranty. Does anyone have experience buying Omegas from them? What is the chances of Aqua Terra needing a manufacture warranty? Also, is there certain steps that I must take in order to prove that my new watch is authentic and working before ripping the tags?

    Thanks.

Another option would be to check the sellers on this forum. I myself have purchased an AT from @Kringkily and you can pick up a BNIB watch with a warranty for close to GM prices. Many member on this forum have purchased multiple watches from these sellers (and you can review feedback from those members on the seller review thread) and would not hesitate to offer positive recommendations. To me this would be the best option...get a new watch with warranty at almost GM prices and let the collective experience of forum members allow you to have peace of mind about the authenticity of your watch and the trust of the seller.

I am looking for Model # 231.10.39.21.03.001 or some variation to color of the dial. It has to be 39mm though...

And to prove authenticity and watch is working perfectly, is there certain steps? I recall some people should film opening the box...etc..?

I'd consider the older 2500 Aqua Terras. More elegant design than the new butch 8500s IMHO.
