Hi everyone,

First post. I’ve recently become the owner of this vintage 166.002. I primarily am curious about the originality of the dial. Please see some info and photos below:

Movement: Cal 560
Original crown
SGM stamped case back
Serial links watch to 1964 production

Main concern which makes me question:
There is Lume present but no T on dial. My Geiger confirms this is not radium. I was initially concerned about originality because of this fact but from research, it seems like a 1964 watch imported for the US market with the 560 movement very well could not have had a T next to “Swiss” to indicate tritium.

Seems like this “generic” version with a 560 movement is also quite rare so I’d be interested in any facts anyone has!

Thank you very much

Genuine and the dial is original but the crown is not original. That’s not a huge issue.

Hi David, thanks so much! So I can learn a little, would you mind sharing which aspects of the dial make it original? Also, thanks for the heads up on the crown. Is it because it’s knurled? It does have the omega symbol on it
