On behalf of a friend I'm am seeking help to identify and possibly value this Seamaster. My friends grandfather purchased the watch, he thinks in the late 50's. He was in Europe at the time, so given the Turler marking, he may have bought it in Switzerland. It also has an integrated Omega 18k gold bracelet. It looks like a unishell case, so I won't be attempting to open it. Given that, I have no internaly based serial numbers. It weighs in at 87 grams. I think it may be a De Ville model, but given the face markings I'm not sure. All help and advice welcome. Thanks.

Apologies on the low res photos... Something re-sized automatically. I can post more hi res if needed.

by looking those small resolution pictures, I just can say the dial's refinished...
it's a Seamaster or Seamaster Devile I guess, with "swiss Made" lettering below 6 o Clock marker CMIIW

A good large closeup of the dial is needed.

Looks like a redial to me. Print too thick, no Swiss Made, no minute hash marks and the Turler is missing the two dots, or umlaut, over the "u".

I'd have to agree, dial appears to have been refinished.

Thanks. I tend to agree. Any idea what the model type would be with the integrated bracelet?

How do you guys calculate the gold value? I'm weighing the watch in grams and taking 20 off for the movement....

The only way to really know is to strip the watch down.

Thanks. Does anyone know of, or can recommend a jeweller in the Maryland or Virginia area who could carry out this kind of work?
