Hi.
I'm trying to replace the bezel on my new Seamaster collection, model 2534.50 (seamaster 50th GMT).
Replacing just the insert didn't work. I'm thinking of replacing the bezel.
I'm thinking of combining a PO bezel (ref 082su1702) with the 2534.50.
Has anyone heard of a successful mod like this?
Help me!! I'm worried that the case and bezel won't fit together.

It’s something that’s been done extensively on 2254.50 non-GMT versions of the Seamaster Pro, I would assume the GMT version is not really any different and still works since it’s 60-clicks rather than 24 clicks still.

There’s a thread about it here that may help and has some imaged that can guide you as far as how it will look:

I think this can`t be done, as the GMT is thicker watch, than 2254, the glass sits higher, hence also the bezel is thicker on GMT. Or maybe can be physically done, but the glass will sit above the bezel a bit...

I have the white 50th, and I'm pretty sure the bezel is different in that's it's thicker, also think these cases are unique and thicker too. Far from 1:1 when compared to a 2531. This may mean fit problems. Don't know for sure. Worst case is it won't fit, and you resell.

I don't think this will work, but get a cheap bezel and check I suppose
