Just checking in as a new member. Until now having owned several at one time or another since 1988, I've been strictly a Rolex fan. I still own and will never part with my Submariner (116613LB), but just the other day I picked up a brand new - and my first Omega. The Seamaster, 300M Diver 31812593454_93b6b85ed5_b.jpg 32614896506_e2316bb7e3_b.jpg in black was the watch I chose and I received it just yesterday.
I'm very pleased with the quality level of the Omega and so far its functioning perfectly and keeping time accurately. The only slight disappointment I experienced is that the band was exceptionally big and had no way of adjustment other than to go to my jewelers and have them remove two links. My wrist is not small by any means so a minor adjustment clasp would have been great. I do understand that the 2018 models are equipped with this NEW feature.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to being a member and enjoying my new Omega.

Hello. That’s a nice Seamaster. I too went with a black dial, the blue just didn’t do much for me.

    Welcome!

Yeah Omega is s tad hap hazard on which watches have the micro adjustment clasps. This Seamaster was the last to get one. I believe you can retrofit one on easily at a Sub $200 cost.

The 300mc and Planet Oceans have had them for awhile now.

I liked the blue very much but went with the black because my other high end watch is this . . . aHVibM.jpg

I know there's a micro adjustment clasp available but I'm not sure where to acquire one.

Closest ones to me are hours away . . . can they be gotten through email (online) transactions?

Not sure. Give them a call. I do not see why not. You probably need a part number. I’m sure someone here can help out with that. Part # anyone?

You can call your closest one and they should ship. Worst case call Costa Mesa and they should give you the part numbers and you AD can hopefully order it. Although I’m sure someone here knows which part numbers you need.

For those interested, I contacted the Omega Boutique in Pittsburg and they do have the adjustable clasp I need. Thanks
