Here we have a very rare dial for the Lebanon, with painting of the Temple of Baalbek.

You have some nice Omega's and a fantastic MG but I'm not so sure about the originality of the Lebanese. The painting looks very amateuristic with a degree of bubbling, the markers are not at all well aligned and I've never seen a cloisonné dial with the sharp Omega logo.

I collect cars too! Here's a beauty that I drive on the weekends. Fully restored MGA MK II circa 1961. The last and only MK II in Singapore!
I'd be surprised if there were enough vintage cars in SG to support a local restoration business. Did you send it off to KL or did you buy it restored already?

This is a new way of making an intro...the Blitzkrieg approach of humble bragging.

There is actually a huge market for vintage cars. For people like myself who are enthusiasts. Who choose to bite the bullet of the 10 year Certificate of Entitlement (COE). And the double Road Tax we have to pay, just to keep these ageing beauties on the road for the enjoyment of ourselves and others!

I restored the vehicle with one of the experts in vintage car restoration in Singapore.

There are also vintage car clubs here my friend.

Here's an email from Omega Museum themselves. Confirming its authenticity. Although also telling me that they cannot fix the damaged dial legs, without damaging the enamel.

Lived in the city the few years I was there (Orchard Rd). COE and taxes alone could pay for both my watch and car hobbies here in the US 😲

Yeah. Rental in Orchard is way sky high! I live in the East. It's nice and breezy here. Less foot traffic and car traffic. And ample space for my 7 cars. 😀

You beat me to that comment 😁

Never seen such an approach. Quite a profile. Will be thrilling to see how this goes.

Whatabout the WTB-list, can you share it too, aswell as the current collection? 😀

Thanks mate. I'm thrilled that you are thrilled.

I'm currently just searching for bracelets/ spare links.

1) Spare Gold Links to extend my bracelet on my Omega Constellation 368-1201. Bracelet Reference 1551/861 (11) IBE.

2) Solid Yellow Gold Bracelet for my Omega 145-0052. Bracelet Reference 1489/812.

Let me know if you have them! Or know of anybody selling them.

Sorry but that Whatsap or email or whatever it is isn't really proving anything in my mind. In fact with the poor grammar and context used it is having the opposite effect.

Welcome to the forum SGWB

I do enjoy unbridled enthusiasm.

In the west, this has been to some extent squashed as we all look over our shoulders.

Keep it up

Different culture. I can understand how a US-centric reader can see what's happening as over-the-top. But having lived in enough parts of the world I know that we all have to accommodate to people who seem different to us at first blush.

If you acquire some vintage pieces you could be MalayaWatchBaron.
