Hi guys. I don't post often, but thought today would be a good time. Just took delivery of a watch I've been looking for for awhile now. There are several Ed Whites available on the bay and other sources, but what I value most is the condition of the dial and preferably unpolished case (like most folks!). While I could have picked up a "beater", I chose to be patient and waited for the right one to pop up; understanding full well that it would command a premium....although there seems to be a lot of crap out there commanding a premium. It may not be museum quality, but it's certainly in the "collector-grade" conversation. No bracelet (not sure what the correct-correct one is, but until then, a shell cordovan strap will have to do. This 105.003 now completes my small collection of pre-moon, cal 321, NASA flown references.

Thanks guys. I'm pretty sure the crown is a service replacement. So i guess I need to hunt for an original one at some point. Narrow, flat feet, 24 would be correct ?

Top condition! Congrats! Stunner dial!!!
You just need a flat foot crown. (pushers might be service too).

Yes, you are right. Type A1. 24 - Narrow flat feet is correct.

Great watch! And DIBS of course. ::love::

Very Nice Ed White, even if you should find a vintage crystal ;)
