·Ya thanks and I’m in the stock market and am a buy and hold type of guy. It is easy to get ahead of yourself, at least in my case. I will say along with thinking of using the watch towards a speedy I do like it and on the off chance I could get it for a grand I would be happy. Probably service it and hold it but I made the decision I’m leaving it at that. I’ve never dealt with an estate sale prior so it propbaly isn’t a wise idea. I appreciate the advice and have had to heed it numerous times in life after learning the hard way
I love the 34mm oysters (and trust me-they are not mid-sized, they wear much larger than you would think). I think these “lower end” Rolex’s are the embodiment of the original Oyster design and ooze restrainted class. I have 2 now (an OPD and Airking) and they are staples in my weekly rotation.
If you can get it under $1.5k, throw in a $300 service, you are still under the bar for street value...but you won’t make much on it if you choose to flip it.
