    Hi everyone,

I just register to OMEGA forums. During the last year I started to buy vintage Omega Electronic watches.
The strange thing is that I want to repair them by myself ;-)
Don't worry I will start practicing with cheap quartz watches, and send the Omega to the watchmaker ;-)

    Regards,

    Laurent

Before you do anything, watch some repair videos on line. You will get an idea of the tools, expertise and patience needed.

Welcome Laurent. The thing with quartz watches is that the cheap ones are not serviceable - all you can do is change the movement for a new one - only on the better ones can you actually take them apart and repair them (if you can still get the parts)

    Not working? :(

Imagine the harmonics if you had all three humming at once on a nice resonating surface!

The first night I had my f300, I took it off and put it in the glass tray on my bureau in which I keep my watch and went to bed. I could NOT figure out what that new annoying noise was. Finally I got up out of bed and traced it to my bureau and.... moved the watch an inch and the noise went away.
