Hi all!

Some really interesting posts on here! I look forward to reading up on the collected knowledge on this site, and hopefully (in time!) I will be able to add something myself.

I have two Omegas myself, my daily (a 1960s Seamaster - pictured below) and a DeVille Quartz which needs to go off for repair :'(.. went to get a new battery put in and it isn't running.. A new movement needed maybe?! I will start a topic on it when I get home and grab some pictures of it.

Anyway, hope all of you have a good one! I look forward to becoming an active member on here

You need to add a Speedmaster to your collection ASAP.

 

Hi Matt. Welcome to ΩF. Two things you need to know:

1) Contrary to popular belief, you do NOT need to have a Speedmaster in your collection.



2) If you had not installed an avatar, there were a few possibilities I would have considered.

 

Hello Rusty, Nice watch you have there. If you want a thousand likes in half a day buy an old speedmaster. You don't need to get one though if you don't want to follow the crowd, there are thousands of nicer watches that are worth spending the money on

I feel very welcomed though things seem to have escalated on the speedmaster front I may or may not have had a browse of some! But they are a bit out of my price range at the moment (I'm only 25, don't quite have a few £k knocking around - but when I do I might have to add to the collection)
