I'm Alex, live in London, England, currently have an f300hz Seamaster diver: And will shortly (if all falls into place) be acquiring another f300, a Speedsonic. Welcome Alex, Handsome diver you have there.......I love the hummer sound. I only have one Connie hummer out of curiosity with the movement. The only thing that makes me not collecting more is its reputation of difficult to repair if something happened.
Hi there, I too was worried about the repair issue, but I know a chap here in the UK who does good value repairs and servicing on the hummers. They are not as bad as people think!
Welcome to the forum Alex, I've been curious about hummers too. I saw a nice Constellation one only yesterday. It will be good to see your collection progress. There's not much escape once you start on here!!!
Great stuff! The Speedsonic is this one: Looks to be in pretty good nick, and has the original Omega bracelet too, which I love. Will post up some more pics when the deal is done and it's landed. Any ideas how I can tell what year it was made? Cheers all, Alex.
