Hi, my name is Miguel, from Argentina, i've been reading a lot in your forum this days because i've been bitten by the vintage beast. Many years of desire for a Moonwatch Speedy, but they're still way out of my budget. Recently i've purchased two Calibre 751 Omegas, a Seamaster 168.034 and a Constellation 168.029, both in their way to me now. I'll complete this post with some images as soon as my new jewels get to me, but in the meantime i'm taking a moment for a proper presentation. By the way, i'm sure both of my "new" watches will need service, they're both running and the sellers told me they are recently serviced, but you now how it is... Thinking on send they to Christian (WatchGuy), in London to do it, what experience do you have with him? Thank you, Best regards from the deep south! Miguel PS: Please be indulgent about my english.
Welcome! Here's your first "like". Plenty of languages represented here. I can tell already your English is better than my Spanish! Eres un verdadero caballo! Or is it caballero?
As promised, first photos of my first Seamaster, ref. 168.034, for sure it need some care (be patient, it will come), but so far i'm delighted with it! Hope they're not too heavy for the forum, but i really like detail in this little wonders. Sorry about the date/change moment, just coming back home and no time to wait for it to complete. Best regards. Miguel
