moonlanding
路I'm relatively new here and thought I'd say hello and introduce myself and my watches. My forum handle is moonlanding because I was born on the exact day man landed on the moon.
I bought my first Omega Speedmaster 15 years ago - the 35th anniversary edition. I had to have it as it had my birthday in red right on the front!
I bought a second 35th anniversary for my father as a present. He kept it for about five years but complained about legibility as he got older - so he sold it and bought a 40th anniversary edition. When he passed I inherited his 40th.
For my 50th birthday, I decided I wanted the 50th anniversary edition. I put down deposit at OB sight unseen. Like many, I was a little nervous about "two-tone", but I love it and wear it regularly.
Here's a picture of all three - not the best picture compared to some of yours - will try to do better someday!
