    Hello everyone.
I recently found the omega that belonged to my father and am looking for information. I have Google around for a few days but have not found satisfactory data.
It was purchased new around 1972 by my mother new from a jewelry store in Columbus indiana.
What version is this? I have identified the grand prix face but that is about it. I welcome all information. Bracelet is original as well with marking omega and logo. Approximate value?

Looks like a ref 166.039. The watch came in many dial variations and the racing dial you have is IMO one of the nicer dial designs. Here is a link to one in stainless steel that is now in the possession of another forum member.
Your example has had a rough life and there is considerable damage to the plating. As such, the value is going to be mostly sentimental.
    Hope this helps.
