I got this watch for free - as a parts watch - in a deal on a 60ies Chrono Master. The intention was to take the hands from this one. It has been sitting on top of my drawer for a couple of years now and every other day I pick it up to have a look at it. Every time I get amazed by the colour of the dial. It shifts from silver/white to sky blue depending on the lighting. Today I decided to get a new crown for it as that is the only part of the watch that needs to be replaced. The hands stay in this watch and it is upgraded from parts watch to a nice vintage user.

    1967 (april) Citizen Crystal Seven.

That is certainly a beautiful effect. Could some tint in the crystal be adding to it?

A watch that nice deserves investing a bit whenever it needs it, up to replacing the movement if worse came to worst.

Nice, my old 57 Chevy wagon was two toned "Lard Can Blue". Mostly a darker blue with light blue in the rear panels. There was a common brand of lard that can in cans of a very similar two tone finish.
