OMG, thank goodness you’re back! If I had known, I’d have planned an activity to distract me from your absence!
Yeah, I never saw this post: I figured it out, having read that thread earlier, but I had no idea when I’d see you all again. Whew! I guess I’m addicted.
Holy $#!+. Talk about withdrawal. A sad commentary on how much time I spend here. I, too, missed the update notice. Vacuumed the house and cleaned my bathroom. Sure, the wife is pleased, yet I’d much prefer to be on OF.
Well Optus sucks anyway as do most Australian ISPs so feel free to call them up and complain regardless!
Guys, relax — it’s amazing the things you will notice around the house when OF goes off line to deploy new upgrades..
Glad to know I wasn’t alone. Craigslist, Kijiji, local estate jewellers, random sites...just not the same.
At first I went into panic, an alternate universe? Terrorist attack? Then I recalled it was Saturday and a that there was a notice a while back...I actually read last weeks Economist, Two days worth of Tribunes, hit the gym and got all my expense reports done. Now sadly my productivity is about to ....... crash ....
Thank goodness we have a local group here I could chat with... two incomings in 24 hours, and I needed somebody to show them off to... It's so nice to know that OF does these upgrades in order to preserve our beauties for now until eternity... ... Thanks, OF and MODS!!
@dsio true that, at least their 4G beats TPG's ADSL2+ speeds @alam speaking of things learnt while OF was down, insights into watches from 1995:
I joined another watch forum. That's 3 I'm on now!..... and the other 2 aint all that good really chaps. Good to be home.
I just drank to pass the time until it was back up and running. It took me 5 minutes to type this correctly. Thank you for all you do admins!
Didn’t wear a watch in protest, used my phone to tell the time. ( that sucks! ) Put a new strap on to mark the reboot occurring.
