Please discuss, what have I missed? Hands look a different shade but are tritium (IMO) Case original or relished, I'm not sure at this point. (Edit, look at the bezel and flat foot crown, I'm leaning towards unpolished) New gasket so possibly serviced? https://www.hqmilton.com/timepieces/eoexy204/1968-omega-seamaster-300-st165.024-A281
Mmmmmm, movement is very dirty, which would explain the colour of the dial lume due to water intrusion. Does not match the rest of the watch though.
Case refinished imo. When seen from the angle the shaping is too angular and not curved/rolled enough. And you're right that the condition doesnt match the dial/movement.
+1 on picture n°6 you can clearly see discrepancy between the caseback and case. A franken which looks expensive for that price imo but fortunately the authenticity is guaranteed so you have no need to worry
Bought an SD from them before. Jacek sent it out to me after it was "serviced". Received it and the crown was loose, couldn't change the time whatsoever. Sent it to my watchmaker to get it fixed, Bill was about 280 usd. Jacek was in the loop all this time and had agreed for me to get it fixed by my own watchmaker. He bankwire the funds over to me for the repairs. All in all, they are a legit business with great after sales service but sometimes there are unexpected goof ups.
Strange one, if put together then all the parts seem period correct, bezel is just amazing, correct for case type and movement serial. Could it have been water damaged early then chucked in a drawer for 40 years? No evidence of strap changing and it looks like a vintage case rather than a modern one.
Even if the bezel and hands Have been swapped, attractive watch in this market... however... Could they be bothered to clean up the movement??
This watch was sold here in the past: https://www.lunaroyster.com/archive...ds-165024-on-flat-link-bracelet?rq=omega 1968 Based on the green hue of the lume it would make sense that some moisture got to the dial. As per the case, looks correct lyre style to me, not recut.
