Hello friends of the forum. This Zenith was one of my grandfather's watches. I love every single detail of it, everything seems to be original and it is in a near mint condition. The caliber is a 405 Zenith Movado. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find more information about. Have you already seen the same model and do you know if this is a rare one? Any comment is very appreciated. Thank you guys.
The movement isn't particularly rare - was produced from the 1970's through mid-1980's in a number of references. Yours looks like a nice example, but what makes it really special is that it is a family piece. I don't believe that is the original bracelet, but others may chime in on that. Get it serviced by a competent watchmaker, and it should serve you well for years to come.
It's a Movado high-beat movement - one of the movements Movado brought to the Zenith marriage. When they appear in Zenith models, they are often branded Alta Frequenza/Precisione on the dial. Not rare as Darlinboy states, but a nice example nonetheless.
