Got the Nato look for £11! Paypal emailed me (still not sure why) with £10 credit, then managed to picked up 2 Omega stamped clasps from Ebay, and the two Nato straps below for a total of £21. Cost after the credit £11! I had to cut the original clasps off to fit the new ones but am very please with the end result! NB The straps look a bit shiny on the photos due to the flash but are in fact quite a dull in normal light, making them look (in my opinion) even better.
They were quite difficult to remove! I used two sets of cutting pliers with a combination of cutting, twisting, & brute force, (I discovered that the weak spot was in the middle, so the second one was easier to remove). In hindsight I think a mini hacksaw would have been a better option!
