...People who get into it and blast through a ton of watches very quickly, and never really solidify their tastes, tend to burn out fairly fast. It’s more about your personality type than the internet.

This rings very true for me...

Life also changes for people: careers, family, health, etc.

I think overall it’s an overwhelming positive... it has brought so many more people into the hobby I can’t really see it as a negative.

I've made some good friends in my 'brief' time on OF and glad for the things I've learned.
