Has the current speedy cal 1861 been in space? Still qualified by NASA?

    The way I look at the current speedy is that it is a homage to the original like a tribute if you like. The 1861/681 have a different case and slightly different dial to original with the movement having the foundation and many identical parts to the 321 but not the coloun wheel chrono.

    I know the 321 was on the moon and the 861 used with space shuttle and MIR. Is the 1861 still space qualified or at the least still being intended to be used by NASA?

    I read that the speedy is still the only watch certified for eva? Be it the 321 moonwatch or the homage 861 or 1861 variations. I believe the x33 is used more now and the fortis as well for general space flight but not eva?
