Thanks I guess I didn't search correctly. See it now - I put files and not archives. :whipped:

Anyone has experienced the same situation as me ? I ordered one and after 1 month of receiving the dispatching confirmation still no news. After writing Omega support asking for the tracking process, they said they will send me another Extract in case it is lost, 02 days later I got the Extract from the Post office, immediately I wrote a reply stating I received the Extract but no answer.

One month later a new dispatching confirmation email arrived in my mail box, I was thinking did they actually sent another Extract to me and suprisingly today I received my 2nd Extract :D:D

Printing and signing the Extract is not the hard part, but finding your provided data is. So getting a second one when one got lost only requires one more Copy to be made. Nice of them. But you need a second, identical watch now :)

Newbie here. Reading this post I got curious, what 'detailed information' is in the archive? Also what value or purpose you get from an 'Extract of the Archives' give it "is not a Certificate of Authenticity and does not guarantee the authenticity of a watch or its component parts"?

So in case anyone else is curious there is a thread here discussing the pros/cons of asking for an extract, with an example of an Omega Extract document.

The part of authenticity concerning the parts is up to the owner, but a Certificate can very much prove if or if not things align concerning a reference number/movement serial and/or country of delivery in relation to certain idiosyncrasies a given watch should/can have.
