It was my Fathers, he passed away 14 years ago.

I have never seen one like it before?

I am thinking of selling it but no idea of the value....

    Can anyone help me please?

No I have not seen this model and I do not know how much you could make from selling it. I wish I had my late grandfathers watch on which I could place no financial value......

Not many collectors are interested in such watches, but it may contain a lot of gold, so that would be the main valuation. Apart from sentimentality.

    Collector Value = $0
    Gold Value = $50 plus
    Sentimental Value = Priceless

    Most likely not.

$50 plus means whatever the OP would be able to get for gold value.

As I have no idea of the weight I can't predict $ and based on the lack of photos regarding hallmarks etc, I don't think anybody else could either.

I'd keep that one unless it was worth a boat load of money. I'd even invest several hundred in putting it in tip top condition.

That's a fine looking watch, never saw one like it.
Not something I'd buy but if I had it as a bequest I'd never part with it.

I'd sell it. It's too dated to wear. It's just gonna sit in a box until the OP's eternal rest comes, and then it'll be passed on to somebody else that'll get stuck with it and won't ever wear it. Sell it, use the money to take the wife out to dinner, and enjoy a bottle of wine on your old man.

These tend to sell just a bit over gold spot - which is a shame.
