    Hi OF Members!

I've recently signed up for StockX and was just wondering if anybody on this forum has tried using it.

I'd like to hear your thoughts about it. What's good (or bad) about it?

    Thank you.

Not going to work for watches is my take.

Yeah, it's a bid and ask system. Unconventional but I'm curious to see how it progresses.

I have quite a few friends who have used it for shoes and have good things to say about it. You may pay above market but you at least get the security of the website.

They have sneakers and other stuff as well. Yes, StockX actually verifies all goods sold before shipping it to buyers.

I've heard that the fees are a bit high and is likely geared more towards modern watches (known references and knowledge to service) vs the vintage market (hard to verify authenticity and fix).

The thing I love about it is price transparency. With buy and ask elements you quickly zone on what the market is bearing.
