Aye the deil finds work for idle hands

Came across this piece that Harrods will be selling in December at list price and must admit I like.
Green tip to the second hand and green depth rating to my ageing eyes works well.

Any others in like brigade ?

That is nice. I like that they are selling it at standard RRP too.

Makes you wonder why that blue one is double the price

 

What? They not gonna print Harrods on the dial like Turler does?

For some reason the green in the dial bugs me. Rather it be cream or gold.

 

I really like that, it looks like a lot of wat h for the money

 

T.b.h. I would have to see it in the flesh to be one hundred percent sure as I suspect the photography could be better ?

 

It's kind of interesting looking, but the ETA Black Bay was pushing the limits of my tolerance for thickness (still want a blue one someday though) and though I haven't tried on the in-house, I'm not sure I'd be happy with the extra thickness

Was a like,r of Tudor until I tried one on @Alpha .
Rather high profile compared to your Rolex you will find. ( they could put advertising on the case sides, there is so much real estate available in my opinion )

 

I'm finding that I like Black Bay variants in all colors.

It would look good on your wrist Alpha and would look good in future photographs you would post.

 

I like it quite a bit actually. Unfortunately I suspect they will want me to give them money in exchange for the watch...which would be rather difficult with 3 young boys at Christmas time!!

 

The green is not my favorite. I still like black bays though.

I quite like this. I had the original ETA Burgundy for a while and settled on the Black ETA. Being more used to vintage Snowflakes and 5513, the extra heft and thickness of BB bugs me a bit.

 

i like the black bay, even considered getting it at one point, but releasing a color per year is getting boring.

just release bezel replacements with various colors and move on to the newer model

 

I love the colour

 

I actually think this would make it a bit more interesting. Not a T&Co Rolex but still interesting.

 

It is a little too thick in my opinion. I was good with the ETA.

 

It is a nice watch though. I have the blue and black ETA’s and I love them.
