My wife loves this G-Shock, but the analog display is pointless.

The panda is the most legible of their for sure. They have a new all white dial one releasing but I don't need another mechaquartz chrono.

Depends on one's eyesight, if you are farsighted (hyperopia) you are going to have trouble focusing and reading things at close distance. I'm just the opposite, I tend to be nearsighted (myopia) and I don't have trouble reading a dial from normal distance. All the examples shown in this thread are easily readable for me, that Seikomatic is borderline iffy, though, at a quick glance. Everyone's peepers are different.

I understand this very well, I am unable to tell the time on this one (or do any calculations with it ). There is no second running, so I sometimes don`t even know wether it is running at all....
I don't really have trouble reading the time on this one, since the dial is HUGE....!

Because the hands on my chrono's are contrasting the subdials that makes it easy:

Skeleton hands make it a bit more difficult:

In a similar vein, this is why I’ll most likely never own a skeletonized watch. If I can’t tell the time at a glance, forget it.

Lovey piece, but would you want to use it to actually tell time? I can’t see squat with this:

If you want a dial where you can see the time with "half a glance"...

And you don't need your reading glasses either .

Combine the busyness of a Brietling dial with the confusion of a 24-hour dial, gold hands and burnt out lume....

Must be you, mind you a blue chrono second hand against a blue dial wasn’t a great idea by Dan Henry but maybe because I was brought up with chronos I’m probably used to it but I don’t have any problems reading any of mine
