·Hi guys - I am new here registration-wise, but I have in the past spent a fair amount of time going through this forum when I was purchasing my own 168.005 pie pan Connie. Through that experience, I think I honed my skills somewhat at spotting sly redials.
This one has perplexed me though. It looks to be in slightly "too good" condition dial wise for its age, but the signature/logo looks "good" to me, and the minute marks are certainly well done if this is a redial. Hands are definitely a known variation. Movement serial # vs expected watch age checks out. Case markings look right. Crown is right.
But I cannot find an example of this dial font for the hour markers. The G on OMEGA is also slightly different from contemporaries, though there are obviously variations across dial "models".
What do you guys think?
