I will never understand why someone want to spend Christmas where it's warm and sunny. I've never seen Santa in shorts... but the PO is a nice watch!
Are you kiddin me @munichblue ..... nice wearing shorts n T-shirt on ThnxGiving. I'm wondering why it took me soo long
No, I'm not! To each his own, but I like seasons, no I need to have seasons. What's more beautiful than spring after a long winter when life is blooming, a hot and lovely summer afterwards, the nature turning into these stunning colours during autumn and going quiet again in winter? What's 12 months of sunshine against this? I would never be able to live without these changes.
Try it, you'll like it! For the record, the seasons here are quite different. In the winter, the temperatures are about 10F to 20F cooler than in the summer and there is very little rain. gatorcpa
Your "quite" is 10-20 degrees F...our "quite" is quite a bit more than that... Summer... Lilacs in bloom...smell is wonderful... Growing some Habs in a pot... Winter... Couple of weeks ago we went from +22 C on a Friday afternoon (easily jeans and tee shirt weather) to 15 cm of snow by Sunday morning and temps below zero C...in about 36 hours. Cheers, Al
That kind of change will absolutely kill me. My leaves would fall off, just like those trees. Which is why I live here and you, well..... Toronto is really a beautiful city any time of year. gatorcpa
Al, you're thinking about this all wrong. This is @gatorcpa in the wintertime: This is you in the wintertime: Fixed that for ya.
